Costume Prop Task

The task is simple; create a costume prop, inspired by a pantomime, that an actor can wear that has some sort of meaning to the story. So where do you begin?

I intend to secure it ,somehow, so it can fit on top of an actor's head. but overall, I am extremely happy with the final product.
